AccountingTalent is made up of experienced Accountancy & Finance recruitment and search professionals who join as Partners, not employees. This means they have a long-term perspective when it comes to their service and focus on relationships and results, not KPI's at the detriment of quality.

With a reputation for professional and personable service alongside excellent business management experience; Helene leads the Chartered Accounting recruitment practice for AccountingTalent in Wellington. Having worked in accountancy recruitment for over a decade in both in New Zealand and the UK, she understands how bringing together the right person with the right organisation can make a significant difference. Helene has a passion for the accountancy sector and enjoys assisting part and fully qualified accountants to achieve their career dreams.

Melanie Hoffman

Partner | Talent Acquisition

Melanie held hands-on and management roles for over a decade in the NZ Finance industry which was a combination of challenge and rewards. Like many others Melanie and her team were left redundant during the GFC and whilst this was a stressful time she was proud that mum and dad investors were not left out of pocket from the organisations she built and managed teams within.

In late 2012 Melanie was offered an opportunity to bring her skillset to the ever changing word of recruitment. Drawing on her passion for people, sales and having recruited many people in her career; moving into Recruitment proved to be an exciting and successful career transition.

Melanie has excelled in recruitment due to the combination of relationships she builds, tireless work ethic and the bigger picture approach she takes with everyone she engages with. Well known as straight up and honest with candidates and clients; Melanie believes deeply in only working with people who are 100% committed to making it work. This commitment level is needed from both sides of the partnership as the client has to be just as committed to provide all the support and leadership to retain the people she secures for their organisation.

Andrea Harris

After having her family she wanted to return to the workforce in a role that would not only give her the opportunity to put her excellent PA/administration skills to full use, but she also wanted to be challenged in other areas - working in recruitment has definitely done that!

Andrea assists our team with a wide range of Para-Consulting and support requirements that ensures our Partners are delivering an exceptional service to all; we simply couldn't do it without her.
