Based in the centre of Lower Hutt, they have large, open offices that are easy to get to.



Reporting directly to a Partner, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and exposure to all aspects of business advisory accounting.

Your role will include liaising with a variety of clients, from sole-traders, LAQCs, to multi-million dollar companies. You will look after clients experiencing the full life-cycle of a business, from assisting with start-ups to seeing clients through the sale of their business in order that they can retire.

You will be expected to complete basic tax returns and financial statements, and learn and grow your skills to be able to prepare cash-flow forecasts, management reports, and offer true strategic business advice.



To be successful in this role you must possess the following experience and attributes:

  • Have completed or be studying towards a degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Have previous experience in completing tax returns
  • Ideally be confident with Xero and ifirm
  • Be a self-starter who can use initiative to break down a goal into bite sized steps in order to complete a job
  • Be detail orientated and process driven
  • Be confident to offer your own opinions and challenge the Partner
  • Have exceptional communication skills
  • Be eligible to work in New Zealand
